Housed in Săliște, Sibiu County, the processing plant is where the project’s industrial value is created — converting high-grade serpentine ore, delivered via the zero-emission ropeway and electric truck fleet, into ultra-pure magnesium compounds through a clean, closed-loop hydrometallurgical process designed to meet the most stringent European industrial and environmental standards.
Clean HCl leaching in closed cycle produces high-purity MgO and Mg(OH)₂ in Phase I, with magnesium metal production fully integrated into the same platform in Phase II.
